Vegas's busy McCarran International Airport is a mile east of
the southern end of the Strip, and four miles from downtown.
From the airport, a taxi to the Strip costs from $10
for the southern end up to $20 for casinos further north,
though fares can vary enormously depending on the time taken.
However, you can easily find a shuttle
airport transfer from around $4 to the Strip and $6 to downtown.
